Home or Community-Based Support for Parents or Children with a Disability
We are not your traditional disability service. At Steps & Strides, we are family- and child-focused.
Your or your child’s disability does not define your family. We are here to support your entire household , understanding your family’s goals and needs while also recognising the importance of helping each person with a disability live an ordinary and meaningful life.
Our team is experienced in the NDIS scheme, having operated registered services in Melbourne since the program began. We implement the quality standards and expectations of the government-regulated system , but with a continued emphasis on family life, childhood development, and practical, everyday support. Children are always learning, whether their care is centred around a disability support program or not.
To provide consistency, our staff work in partnership with your allied health team, helping to implement therapy strategies at home. This includes liaising with psychologists, speech pathologists, or occupational therapists.
If you have a Self-Managed or Plan-Managed NDIS plan, we can assist you under your existing funding. Our services offer high-quality support with lower fees set under the NDIS pricing limits.
